School Closure and Delays Due To Winter Storm - Read Below

Numerous School Districts along the Wasatch Front are issuing weather-related delays and closures this Valentine's Day.

Tooele School District has cancelled school this morning. Tooele County is one of the hardest hit areas in this recent storm.

Alpine School District has delayed classes for four elementary schools - Pony Express, Harvest Elementary, Saratoga Springs and Fox Hollow will start at 11 A.M., however Ridgeline Elementary and Cedar Valley Elementary are closed.

Jordan School District schools are also running on a two hour delay. Bus services have been cancelled for Lehi High School, Willow Creek Jr. High, and all students west of the Jordan River.

Granite School District says it's schools will open on time.

Salt Lake City School District says a power outage is delaying the start of three schools this morning.

Riley Elementary, Mountain View Elementary, and Glendale Middle School will all start two hours late.

Several charter schools are also delaying or cancelling classes today - Lincoln Academy in Pleasant Grove, Dual Immersion in Salt Lake City and Channing Hall Charter in Draper will begin classes at 10am. Renaissance Academy in Lehi will open at 11am.

And classes have been cancelled today for students in Evanston, Wyoming as well.
